We are the leading UK company for the manufacture of artifical grass sports surfaces

Thornton Sports combines the expertise of four companies; Thornton Contracts Ltd in the design and construction of synthetic sports surfaces, multi-use games areas (MUGA`s), athletics tracks and tennis courts; Nordon Ltd UK manufacturers of synthetic grass; Protech AllWeather for synthetic surface maintenance and repair ,and with GTC Sports Ltd supplying and installing the sports equipment and specialist indoor flooring, we offer the customer a ‘Total Solution’.

Offering a full turnkey operation, all of our sports surfaces are designed to meet the varied and demanding requirements of sports that are played at both amateur and professional levels. Such expertise and quality of service has resulted in us being chosen as partners for many PFI/PPP, NOF and City Academy projects turning initial briefs into complete sports facilities, which could also include traditional grass pitches, landscaping and planting.
